Rainy days can be a blessing in disguise for bringing back romance in your relationship. When the weather is against you, it is a perfect excuse to reconnect and share some quality time with your partner. And there are plenty of things to do on a rainy day that can be heaps of fun.

1. Stay Home  Movie Marathon- Put your time at home together to use when it’s raining by holding a movie marathon. Instead of the normal movie at home, make an event out of it. Pop popcorn, prepare snacks and pour a glass of your favorite beverage. Alternating between picks will help you keep movie choices fair if you can’t agree on movies together. If movies is not you thing there are always TV series to look out for.

2. Reinventing Your Nest - Tired of the look of your house. Get down straight to the web and start get inspired and plan new ways to reinvent your home. Start of with the space you both find a need to work on. Go through your store room and you might find a whole lot of things to incorporate into that new look.

3. Wacky Crazy Ideas @ Home - Do a little fashion show. Play dress up with your old and new clothes. Start matching your wardrobe and discover new ways to wear that same old boring dress. Do finger painting and frame that up.  Cook an outrageous meal with whatever you have in the kitchen & maybe followed by a joint bath. Crazy ideas are plentiful it’s how creative you can be and what you want to do.

4.  Enough of staying home, lets get out! – Snuggle up and kiss in the rain. This sound a little crazy but hey we always see that on TV or movies,  don’t we. Well it’s not always raining everyday.  It might after all mean something important, especially  if you haven’t meet each other for a while and you have been missing each other so much. Why not? Bring a camera and ask a passerby to help you capture that moment.  Grab yourself a movie fairytale sort of experience for free.

5. Ok lets say you don’t want to  get wet – With a trusty umbrella and decent shoes, a couple can escape the house. A trip to a nearby coffe /tea house or window shopping can be an interesting outing for committed pairs. Even a trip to a local museum or gallery could be fun a chance to catch up on much needed quality time. A happy twosome can experience a romantic walk in the rain or a night on the town.

Oh well i think in the end the most important opportunity in which a couple should grab on a raining day is to basically Communicate. MSN, Facebook, Phone or  if you could be next to each other.  Just talking to a partner can be great fun, and a good way to get to know the dreams, hopes and aspirations of the other person. This can be quite useful in a relationship, especially for couples who do not spend a lot of time together.  They can always catch up , and find out what is on the other person’s mind.
